| The media gateway makes fast realization of telephony services at enterprise- as well as carrier-locations possible, especially for migration projects to pure IP networks due to the support of 128 channels in the 1HE-class. The media gateway provides the required interfaces for packet based data networks as well as to public and private (over QSIG) circuit-switched networks and therefore allow a smooth connection of circuit-switched telephony and SIP devices. The system is based on “Open Source” architecture; possess redundant hard disk, power supply and Ethernet interface solutions and offers excellent voice quality due to the utilization of a DIGIUM-E1-Card. |
