In the sector of banks the utilization of IP-based connections, between head office and branches for the transfer of voice and data, is focused on.

Hereby cost-efficient transfer routes, such as DSL- or radio connections are being used for keeping performance costs at its lowest. Furthermore central exchange work stations are being established, where all incoming calls arrive and are routed through-out the whole finance institute.

For this task DATUS Corp. offers a solution, which unites the requirements of cost reducing, increased reliability, integration of voice and data into the IP network, emergency call function, remote management as well as statistic gathering, into one device, which appeals through its price. In the single branches, network termination gateways of DATUS Corp. are being deployed. These gateways offer following functions:

  • Routers: for exchange of the IP-information flow
  • ISDN switches: For integration of the surveillance facilities to the ISDN switch network
  • VoIP-ISDN gateway: For the IP telephones to be operable within the ISDN switch network (emergency call functions) and for the integration of existing telephony systems to the IP network
  • Call forwarding: the branches accessible by their old local dial number and switch all incoming calls to the central exchange workstation
  • Remote management for the case of interruptions: Executable over ISDN switch network when the IP connection is interrupted
  • Statistical data gathering: Availability, work load control ,call-data-records

Installation

DATUS Corp. offers an installation services as a "completely carefree package". The entire installation will be performed in place of the customer.

Maintenance

Furthermore, a Change-Management, as well as execution of rollouts, is offered. If required, DATUS Corp. will take charge of the planning.

Training center

The DATUS Training center is integrated within the main branch office in Aachen. At present it includes three training classrooms.
