DATUS voice gateways support the VoIP signaling protocols SIP, H.323 and optional MGCP/IUA. Within the analog and digital sector, the gateways cover almost every utilized interface (FXS/FXO, ISDN-S0/BRI and ISDN-S2M/E1/PRI) up. All systems feature a support for the ISDN protocols DSS-1 and Q.SIG. Using GateEngine iAGS systems a variety of further data-channel protocols can be applied. Therefore, these devices can communicate with all systems of famous manufacturers for traditional ISDN and IP telephony. Using VoIP these systems offer all popular codec, T.38-Fax-Support, as well as a Transparent-Modus for fax- and data-/modem-applications. The routing options regarding voice transfer allow complex dial number manipulation. When dialing a number both Overlap Receiving and Block Dialing are possible. For accessing network, the voice gateways can use Ethernet (FE, GE), ADSL2+, G.SHDSL.bis, as well as optionally use X.21, E1, E3 and STM-1. The products especially suited for connecting existing telephony-infrastructures into VoIP networks, as well as for smooth migration of classic analog- or ISDN- to IP telephony. Furthermore, the gateways excel because of their backup function for voice- and data-application over ISDN when Ethernet or DSL network accesses are interrupted. |
