Although mostly just one company supporting process, most companies depend more on their IT than ever before: ecommerce and ebusiness – processes directly connected to suppliers and partners, company-wide communication networks integrate small and even the smallest locations, employees have a worldwide access to company data.

It is obvious, that even smallest breakdowns are a high level of risk and if so be considered business critical.

Unlike other security critical processes, the sector of IT security can simply be given to the care of external specialist, while the control of the IT processes resides at the customer. In fact he receives an external, automatic and proactive warning system, which generates early warning just like periodic reports, which informs the decision makers of any events. Moreover an external specialist can function as link between different enterprise networks and support the customer for enhancement of his security policy. High degree of automation and splitting expensive (human) resources provide a solution, which is, in most cases, better and more efficient than running the IT security on your own.
The SOC allows, besides of a wide ranged automatic installation and management of the network engineering at the customer, the surveillance the customer’s systems in real-time.
Simultaneously the SOC provides all required information for a periodic reporting to the customer. The SOC is located in a secured location und features redundant connections. It is certified as carrier class system according to EAL1+ and therefore especial company friendly and tamper-proof. The SOC is being managed by a separated system (virtual SOC) through secure connections.
The operator of the virtual SOC is located in the technical call center of DATUS in Aachen. He is the contact person for the customer, too. The managed security services of DATUS are perfected through a whole range of services:
Starting with technical advice, to installation and setup up to customer engineering with on-site services, DATUS can meet the demands of their customer through a nationwide service network.

Installation

DATUS Corp. offers an installation services as a "completely carefree package". The entire installation will be performed in place of the customer.

Maintenance

Furthermore, a Change-Management, as well as execution of rollouts, is offered. If required, DATUS Corp. will take charge of the planning.

Training center

The DATUS Training center is integrated within the main branch office in Aachen. At present it includes three training classrooms.
